Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Gear SmartWatch Price in Nigeria

The price of the Samsung Galaxy Gear and Note 3 in Nigeria were announced at the Note3 Google+ hangout hosted by Samsung Nigeria yesterday with Banky W, Kate Henshaw and Ali Nuhu as featured participants along with Samsung executive representatives.





The Galaxy Gear will cost around N50,000 in Nigeria while you will be able to buy the Galaxy Note 3 phablet at Konga around N98,000 in Nigeria.



The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which will run on the newest Android 4.3 with TouchWiz UI is the first device ever to feature 3GB of RAM. Compared to Galaxy Note 2, it has a bigger 5.7-inch full HD display of the Super AMOLED variety.



The phablet offers a new 13MP camera capable of 4K video recording and 2MP front-facing camera. It runs on a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 32/64GB internal storage and a 3200 mAh battery. It comes in Jet Black, Classic White, and Blush Pink.



It is available as Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9000 with 3G connectivity and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9002 with dual SIM card support.

The Samsung Galaxy Gear on the other hand, is a wearable, companion to the Galaxy smartphones and phablets, not a separate Android device . The 1.64" smartwatch with a Super AMOLED display enables you to start calls, check call logs and even read SMS texts without having to check your phone contantly. There's a dedicated app that helps you configure the smartwatch from your Galaxy Note 3.

Can I Use Galaxy Gear With Galaxy S3, S4 and Note 2?

According to a post at GSMArena.com, Galaxy S4 will get support for the Galaxy Gear smartwatch by the end of October, 2013 while that of the Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S III smartphone will happen by the end of December 2013.



The compatibility between the products will come as part of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update which will bring the crucial Bluetooth 4.0 LE support that the Galaxy Gear requires to the trio.
