Install TeamWin Projects (TWRP) Touch recovery for all MediaTek Devices.

               Some users find it difficult to use volume buttons in recovery mode as its too annoying. Also few people have non-working volume keys & loose hopes to install ROMS or tweaks in their phone. There are so many phones based on MediaTek chipset which receives almost nil importance in development section. Due to lack of development Mediatek phones are considered as the worst choice. But, this won't last longer as everyday a new developer is born & Support a particular phones development. You can also checkout How to Install ClockWorkMOD in Mediatek phones. Here's another post with another cool method to get a Touch recovery for your MediaTek based device. You might be thinking what's the difference in touch recovery & Clockworkmod. The names says it in Clockworkmod you need to use your hadware Volume buttons to navigate to options it doesn't support touch. But in TWRP Touch recovery you can use the touch function which is more comfortable,easy & less time consuming. Just like it takes few minutes to flash CWM in mediatek even this method will require few minutes to  Install a touch recovery. Auto,Car Insurance

Auto mode :
You don't need to know a thing & it'll port a working TWRP for your MTK & that is why it is called Magic.Auto,Car Insurance

Manual mode :

1. Let you choose either to use your boot.img or recovery.img for porting.

7. No need ro.secure=0 to run.

How to use : 

         The method to use this software is too simple as its has two options Auto mode & Manual mode. In Auto mode all you gotta do is install the MTK ADB drivers, Connect your phone that's all. If after install the recovery you find some bugs or Dpi issue you need to go with the manual method. • Link 1 : TWRP Installer.
• Link 2 : TWRP Installer.

2. Extract the zip file you will find a file named as 'TWRP Installer'.

4. Wait for a minute till it ends up showing credits. Once it gets over it will ask for Launch Easy magic installer Click on yes. Auto,Car Insurance

5. It will ask what you wanna do ? Select 'Easy Magic TWRP Installer for Mediatek' and press OK. Auto,Car Insurance

5. Install Universal ADB Drivers from here : ADB Drivers. Connect your phone to PC enable USB Debugging. Goto Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging. For those who don't have Developer options Goto Settings > About phone > Tap 4-5 times on build number.

6. After it is launched Press yes for Auto mode & No for Manual mode. I would suggest using the auto mode as its risk free & there are less chances of encountering a bug. Auto,Car Insurance

CWM Flashable Stock ROM for Karbonn Titanium S5+ (Plus) & Coolpad 7295C

           All other Stock ROMS for Karbonn Smartphones are available in common .img forms which can be flashed by using SP Flash tool. But the Stock ROM is Karbonn Titanium S5+ also re-branded as Coolpad 7295C has Factory firmware in .cbd format which requires YGDP Tool which is too tricky & not an easy software to play with. Install ClockworkMOD(CWM) in all MediaTek Android Device | Working 1000%

                 No Custom recovery for your device? As Mediatek smartphone chipsets have gained its popularity in the market not only due to its performance but also for its affordability, many users tend to buy these smartphones. However, most MediaTek devices nowadays are produced locally. Things you need:

• A MediaTek android device (MT65XX)
• Your phone must be rooted already. How to Root
• USB Chord. 
• Windows PC/Laptop.

How To Flash ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery on Any MediaTek (MT65xx) Android Device :

1. Download necessary files from above links.

2. Install the downloaded PDANet to your computer. It contains ADB Drivers.

3. Turn on your android device and connect it to your computer using USB Chord. (Make sure to Enable USB Debugging, go to Phone Settings -- Developer Options -- Enable USB Debugging.)

4. From your computer, open MTK Droid Tools that you have downloaded above and extract it to your desired location.

5. Open MTK Droid Tools.exe from the extracted folder (Run as administrator). Wait for the tool to detect your device. (If UBIFS warning appeared in the status message, this process will not work for you. Only ext4 supported.). Notice on the bottom-left part of the tool, a YELLOW color indicator means that your android device is does not have root shell yet. If it is GREEN already, proceed to step 7. Click here to know how to ROOT your Mediatek Device or proceed to Step 6

6.  Click ROOT button to enable root shell your device. Wait for the progress bar on the Status, see your phone to Grant Superuser access. If the color indicator turns GREEN, then you have successfully enabled root shell for your device. 

7.  Now, select the Root, Backup, Recovery tab and and further choose To Use Boot From Phone from the selections. Click Recovery and Boot, a message prompt will appear "To make CWM recovery automatically", click YES. 

8. Wait for the tool to build the CWM recovery and another prompt will appear "install patched boot to phone?" select NO, wait a little bit more and another prompt will appear again "install created recovery to phone", now select YES.

9. When the tool ask you to reboot your phone to recovery, click Yes and it will reboot to CWM recovery shortly. Check out your new custom recovery.

            Congratulations! You now have ClockworkMod custom recovery on your MediaTek android device. You can now enjoy apps that requires Superuser rights, mods and ROMs that requires flashing from CWM. Checkout ROMS collection of our blog.

How to Install ClockWorkMod On All devices.| Without Using PC | MTK Tools

                

   Requirements : 

1. Your Phones must be rooted. (Refer Post#1 How to Root)
2. Charge Your phone upto 20%

  Disclaimer :

       I am not responsible if you use this and brick your device or if your device blows up, implodes, flames start shooting from it, or it kills your neighbor's dog.. It was the other guy... I swear....

 Method :

 1. Download Uncle Tools from Playstore  Link: Mobileuncle MTK Tools. Don't download  from any other website as it's a free app.

   

  2.  Download the recovery.img from here ClockWorkMod Recovery, If you don't find your device in the list you can find it on google or mail us your model no. we will find it for you.

  3. After downloading recovery.img place it in sdcard.

  4. Open MTK Tools. it will ask for root access Grant It! 

  5. Now Click on 'Recovery Update' and click on downloaded recovery.img from        sdcard.

  

   6. Now Click on reboot Option.

   7.  You have Successfully Installed ClockworkMod Recovery on your Device. Enjoy Flashing !
