GTBank Token Blank? Here Is How To Get and Activate a New One

My GTBank token device finally stopped working on Monday - no more displaying anything on the screen i.e blank . I applied for a new one the next day at GTBank Makurdi and I received it that same day. After 24 hours, I was able to use the token to add beneficiaries from the GTBank mobile app but couldn't transfer not until I activated the new token online via the GTBank Internet banking platform.

How To Get New GTBank Token Device

So, if yours have stopped working too, all you just need to do is to go to the nearest branch office of Guaranty Trust Bank and request for a new one. You will be issued a form to fill with your details.



You must also go with the "dead' token because they will collect it from you. You will be issued a replacement token device that same day but you will have to wait for at least 24 hours before you can start using it.

How To Activate New Guaranty Trust Bank Token Device

After 24 hours of applying for a new token device, you will receive a text message or mail from GTBank informing you that your token has been replaced with a new one. Thereafter, you can log in to your GTBank online baking account to activate it.



Once you log in, you will see a page similar to the screenshot below:

Enter the token ID without hyphen (-). (e.g. 1247138043) in the space provided, tick "Acknowledge" and click "Continue"

If successful, you will see: "Scam Alert Acknowledgement Successful." Click "OK"



You will receive sms from GTBank, thanking you for completing the GTBank Scam alert acknowledgement process.



You can now proceed with your online money transfers via the GTBank mobile app or internet banking platform.

What Happens If Don't Activate the New Token?

If you fail to activate it online, you will keep seeing "internal server error" everytime you try to make transfers via the GTBank mobile app. Although, you will be able to add beneficiaries with the token.

Download Instant WordPress: Free Portable Software That Lets You Develop WordPress Sites Offline

For a very long time now, I've been using XAMPP to develop WordPress and Joomla sites locally on my laptop. Unfortunately, I traveled last week without my laptop - and I needed to test the latest Wordpress 4.0 locally before upgrading my live Wordpress blog. The Netbook I carried along with me has no XAMPP installed on it.





Knowing how tedious it can be to install and configure the likes of XAMP, WAMP etc on my netbook, I decided to search for a portable solution and stumbled on Instant WordPress. I tried it, worked fine for me and decided to share it with you.



Instant WordPress is a complete standalone, portable WordPress development environment that turns any Windows machine into a WordPress development server and can even run from a USB key.



Instant WordPress wraps an entire web server into a simple to use interface so that you can start, stop and use WordPress very easily within a folder. It can be installed as many times as you wish on the same PC and can be deleted by simply removing the folder that it is running from. Nothing is left on your machine once deleted.



It comes complete with it’s own built in Apache web server, PHP and MySQL installations that are started and stopped automatically. It also comes complete with a set of dummy WordPress posts and pages so that you do not have to create any data or posts to test themes and plugins.



With the help of the free WordPress duplicator plugin, you can even move a website from Instant WordPress to a web server on the internet. You can also use the same plugin to clone a live site for testing locally in Instant WordPress.



Although, Multisite is not supported, you can install IWP it as many times as needed. You can even use different installations for different projects. All you just need to do is to rename the Instant WordPress folders.

You can click on the tabs to access the plugin folder, themes folder etc. You can as well copy the localhost URL, paste it in the address bar of any browser of your choice if you don't want to work with the Instant Wordpress default Internet Explorer browser.

Before the launch of the new Dealdey affiliate program, generating affiliate link for specific deals pages on Dealdey was not possible. You only have one unique link to promote the site and the link only redirects to the homepage. This didn't make sense to most dealdey affiliates.





Going forward, you can now generate direct link to any page on Dealdey, then promote it in your blog posts etc. You can get this done by making use of the Deeplink Generator, which can be accessed via the Dealdey affiliate account dashboard.

How To Use DeepLink Generator of Dealdey Affiliate Program

==> Log in to your Dealdey affiliate account.

==> Click on the "Programs" tab

==> Click on "Commission and ads"

==> Scroll down to the "Deeplink Generator"

==> Copy and paste the URL of any deal page into the "Target URL" field

How I Make Adsense Appear In Middle Of Blogger Posts (New and Old) Without Using Post Template Feature

In my previous post, I explained how to easily place Adsense ads in middle of Blogger posts using the Blogger "Post Template" feature. Although the trick is very easy to implement and automatically displays ad in desktop and mobile view, the trick doesn't display the ads in old posts.





If you want the ad to display in the middle of all posts (old and new), you will have to hack your blog's html and add some codes to it. I stumbled on the trick here, implemented it and works fine on my blog. I even use the trick to make Adsense ads appear in the middle of posts on Blogger mobile view.



This script in the trick actually looks for number of <br/>  (line break) tags inside your post and display ad unit.

How To Get Started



==> Generate your Adsense ad code from www.google.com/adsense

==> Parse the Adsense ad code at www.freehtmlparser.blogspot.com (paste and click "Encode")

==> Login to your Blogger dashboard and back up your template ( Very Important! )

==> Go to "Template" > "Edit HTML"



==> Use CTRL F to search your HTML for the JQuery script below:

NB: Your template might have 2 or more <data:post.body/> codes. You have to identify correct one by using "try and error" trick. The 2nd or 3rd instance works in most templates though.



==> Go to "New Post" > "Options". Ensure you select "Press Enter for line breaks".

That's all.



To make it appear on mobile view, find <b:includable id='mobile-post' var='post'> in your HTML and replace the <data:post.body/> under the line as explained above.

7 Tips for Ad dynamo Advertisers To Increase Campaign Performance

While trying to find out how retargeting works on Addynamo, I stumbled on some tricks shared on Addynamo website. If you've been running some online ad campaings using the Ad dynamo ad network, below are tips to optimize performance of your campaings:

1. Use CPM for Brand Awareness Campaigns



Although, CPC (Cost Per Click) is rated as the most cost effective form of advertising, you may try opting in for the CPM (Cost per Impression) bidding model if you only want to use the ad campaign to create awareness for your brand.



Ad Dynamo scores ads based on historic performance. Hence, if you use CPC bidding model and your ads have a low click through rate, they will probably be shown progressively less on the Ad Dynamo network of publishers.



Altering the campaign to a CPM bid will effectively instruct Ad Dynamo to ignore the click through rate & your ads will enjoy greater exposure.



NB: You can only select your bidding method (Pay per click or Pay per Impression) when creating a campaign on Addynamo.



2. Create Multiple Campaigns & Ad Groups



If you're running campaigns across multiple countries, it makes sense to monitor the performance of each country individually. You can do this by creating a seperate campaign for each country that is targeted. You can select country to be targeted via the "campaign Settings" on Addynamo.



When you're advertising multiple products or services, it makes sense to create a seperate AdGroup for each product in order to properly evaluate the performance of each respective product. i.e if you create a campaign for your Nigeria online fashion store, you should create seperate AdGroups for men office shirts, women dresses etc



3. Multiple Creatives/Advertisement



The more ad sizes that you load into an AdGroup, the more exposure you can win without adjusting your bid per click.  This is because your ads will qualify for a wider selection of relevant publishers.



Hence, instead of just promoting your product with just a text ad, try to create ad banners of sizes supported by Ad dynamo and upload them to your adgroup.

4. Enable Google Analytics Option



When creating a campaign you're presented with an option to activate Google Analytics Tracking. If enabled, it will let you  access via Google Analytics, data of traffic generated to your website by Ad Dynamo and more valuable information that can assist you to optimize your campaign.



If enabled, you can view your Addynamo Ad campaign stats at Google Analytics via "Acquisition" > "Campaigns".



5. Enable Ad Dynamo Run of Network Option



The "Run of Network" feature of Addynamo has replaced Keyword targeting. It lets advertisers target all the websites of Addynamo publishers unless they have chosen to disable Run of Network. This will allow you to target a lot of websites through activating it allowing your campaign to achieve good results.





6. Don't Use A Very Low CPC When Targeting Sites



The ad dynamo platform works on a bidding system so the advertisers with the highest bid will have their adverts displayed on a specific website. If you use a very low CPC, your ad campaigns might not record any impression.



According to my Addynamo account manager, the Nigerian average is around $0.12 and $0.18. Hence, altering the CPC of your ad campaign to fall within that range will definitely increase your campaign performance.



7. Track Conversions



A Conversion represents an activity on your website that you would like to track against your advertising campaign. Examples of conversions include: a sale, a lead, a view of an important web page. By tracking conversions, you can monitor the cost per lead, or cost per conversion - effectively helping you to

measure the return on investment (ROI) of your ad campaign.



You can record conversions for your ads by inserting the Addynamo conversion code on your website. Place it on the page where the conversion should be recorded. You can get the code via the "Advanced" tab on the Addynamo Campaigns page.

How To Put Affiliate or Adsense Advert In Middle of Blogger Blog Post

There are series of tutorials online on how to place Adsense below Blogger post title and at the end of Blogger post but you will hardly see tutorials that will explain how to easily place adsense or affiliate advert in the middle of a Blogger post. This is simply because it's not something you can easily achieve by copying and pasting your ad code in your blog's html.





Although, there exists an advanced hack you can implement to insert an ad in the middle of a Blogger post but I'm sharing with you in this post, a trick that simply involves the use of Blogger's "Post Template" feature.



Post template helps save you time by pre-formatting the post editor. You can use it to format your posts in a certain way. Hence, you can also use it to automatically display your adverts in the middle of your posts.



How To Get Started



==> Get your Adsense code or advert code ready

==> Log in to your Blogger dashboard and go to Settings > Posts and comments, then click Add next to Post Template.

==> Paste your ad code in the box and save. (No need to parse the code).

That's all.



When next you need to compose a post, click on the "HTML" tab of the post editor to see your ad code.



Type your post content above and below the ad code, so that the advert will be in the middle.



When you are through with typing the content, you can click on the "Compose" tab to easily add links etc to your post.



When you are done, publish your post, view and you should see the ad in the middle of the post.



NB: The ad will not display in old posts but automatically displays on the Blogger mobile view.

Easiest method to Increase Internal memory of Android device.

 

                       Internal memory of a device plays a major role in device performance & Storage. Few Apps can only be installed in Internal memory which in turn reduces device performance. Most of the low end device user experience this issue. After lot of request for 'Method for Increasing Internal Memory' i am writing this post. This might be the easiest & safest method to increase internal memory of your Android Device. 

Disclaimer : I am not responsible if you brick your device or if your device blows up, implodes, flames start shooting from it, or it kills your neighbor's dog.. It was the other guy... I swear.. :P But i can assure you that it will work if you do the same as i say.

Required softwares:

1. Link2sd pro (unlocked version) -  Click here
2. A SD card with two partition - second partition may be of any type. (use minitool or cwm to partition)
3. Rooted phone -- to root your phone Click here
4. Lot of patience.

Procedure:

For this method u have to partition your SDcard into two parts :

• First partition as Fat32 (used as main SDcard)Auto Insurance
• Second partition is EXT2  ( used as Internal memory )

1. Patition your SDcard using this method : Partition SDcard. 

2. Download Link2SD plus from above link and install it.

3. Now when you open it after installation. It will ask for the second partition type, select your second partition type you have partitioned to, and grant root permission. Now your your device will reboot automatically.

4. Now after reboot install any app and go to link2sd and select the app installed and click on "create link" and check all four options (Application file, Delvik cache, Library files, Internal data) 

•  If u want to link apps automatically then go to settings, and check auto link and then go to autolink settings and select all four options there.

5. [Optional] Also select the Auto clear cache option in Link2SD settings.

6. Now after doing all these select the inbuilt apps one by one in  Link2SD and link their dalvik cache one by one .

7. After doing this clean your ram with Advanced task manager or any app. And see your internal memory now.  :D

8. Now even if u reboot your device, the low memory message will not appear

Note :  In some user apps there may be no library files present to link them in that case you will not be able to link lib files. Don't panic, its normal.
